We are Hey Sis World  created by (yes, real sisters) Kristel Brinshot and Priscilla Brinshot. Two Indigenous Latinx radical creatives who have transversed the creative industry space working with some of the world’s most influential athletes, celebrities, musicians, and brands. And now? We are shaping the future of creativepreneurship. 

 

What inspired us to create Hey Sis World was a story rooted in finding like-minded individuals and choosing freedom to show up in spaces, unapologetically as our WHOLE selves. Over the course of the years working in our respective industries, we had both experienced frustration over the lack of representation of BIPOC womxn in leadership roles, compassion for healthy dialogue, and exhaustion over having had to constantly suppress our creative capabilities to thrive. 

 

We can’t count on our hands the amount of burn-outs we experienced and times we’ve had to go against what our bodies were telling us in order to maintain a job with fear. We’ve always known there were alternative ways to live but it took developing the Hey Sis World community to expand our mindsets and truly believe in living as our authentic selves. What started as an IRL pop-up held in the back of a kitchen in Los Angeles one night in 2018 with the intention of discussing ‘Vulnerability’ (à la Brené Brown) has grown into a worldwide digital community of entrepreneurs, music artists, designers, chefs, and expanding. 

 

Our mission is to share the knowledge and experiences from ourselves and our community so that our generation and future generations understand that there ARE multiple ways of leading an abundant life that allow you to stay true to your purpose and contribute your talent towards building a more inclusive, purposeful, and energetic world.
